Our smallest, but most fun project to date

We often get the question, “do you only build homes over five or six thousand square feet?”. The answer is “absolutely not”. The most important thing for us is that our clients get the home of their dreams which is nothing to do with size. We’ve done a variety of sub five thousand square feet homes in the Southlake area and as far out as Justin. One of the most enjoyable “homes” we have build was actually only a few square feet :)

This is a throwback to 4 years ago when we sponsored a local 5k run in Southlake. It was a great event benefitting research around Polycystic Kidney Disease (PDK). The event was full of raffles, food and fun. Our involvement was to build a miniature dream home for a lucky youngster looking tog get on a mortgage free housing ladder. This young lady was the winner of the raffle. The family sent us these pictures to let us know she was having a blast in her new McMansion.

We have actually participated in this event three times and each time we managed to raise around $6000! The playhouse was put together using our own subcontractors and suppliers and materials donated from our projects. It’s this kind of thing that gives our industry true purpose and we look forward to similar events in the future. PDK is particularly prevalent in infants so we thought that a playhouse would be a great way to bridge the gap between what we might be fun for kids.
